3C: Set Targets and Establish Trajectories

A target translates a goal into a numerical commitment that is specific, measurable, ambitious, realistic, and time-limited (SMART). A trajectory is a series of interim targets that plots the planned path of the metric between now and the target date. Both targets and trajectories ask you to estimate the impact of the strategies you’re undertaking will have on your goals.
