Job Description

The Revenue Business Partner is responsible for reviewing contracts, funds, and invoices, ensuring accurate monthly accounts. Collaborates with business partners, Project leaders, Associate Directors and clients all over the world , providing financial judgment for scenarios and activities. Proactively identifies, reports, and resolves risks. Drives optimization of business and finance systems. Analyzes business arrears and revenue anomalies. Adaptable to additional tasks as assigned by leadership. Key contributor to financial integrity and organizational success.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Revenue Process Management: Execute daily tasks related to revenue generation processes, including contract review, funds reconciliation, refund review, and billing.Ensure the accuracy and completeness of revenue recognition and receivable accounts during monthly closings. Independently analyze and resolve data discrepancies as they arise.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various stakeholders to adapt to evolving business demands. Assess the impact of new business initiatives on Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks and adjust processes accordingly.
  • Risk Identification and Management: Identify, assess, and report risks associated with daily operations. Proactively engage with backend teams to address issues and ensure data integrity for accounting and reporting purposes.
  • KYC process for new clients, and Contract review/liaison with Lawyers/CFO of technical/legal point.
  • Project Handling: Manage ad hoc issues and projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment .
  • Principal Audit liaison for Revenue: This includes, but is not limited to, Internal Audit, External Statutory Auditors, Clients Audit.

  • Solve problems: Break down problems and identify root causes before developing hypotheses and solutions.
  • Stay focused: Navigate complexity, especially in policy and program implementation, consistently steering large coalitions back to a single-minded focus on priority outcomes.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in finance operations, including revenue accounting or account receivables function.
  • Solid understanding of Accounting and Compliance knowledge.
  • Strong logical thinking and communication skills.
  • Ability to think out of the box and good problem-solving skills.
  • Passionate about work with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Excellent teamwork spirit.
  • Confident to speak to clients and external auditors
