Job Description

As an Impact Analyst at Delivery Associates, you'll play a key role in enhancing our impact measurement and reporting systems worldwide. You'll be instrumental in enabling our global team to articulate and quantify the effectiveness of their projects, leveraging data to refine practices and ultimately driving improved outcomes for people around the world. If you’re ready to make an impact and champion data for action in an international organization, we encourage you to explore this exciting opportunity with our team.

This role will be delivered remotely from Peru. Only candidates with an existing work authorization in Peru will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage impact data collection and reporting systems

  • Manage DA’s technical platform for quarterly impact data collection; ensuring optimal performance and accessibility, checking for data quality and consistency, and providing technical support to colleagues for utilizing the platform effectively
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts around our internal platforms and processes for impact data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Analyze, synthesize, and produce key insights and reports to help multiple internal and external audiences to review and understand our impact data
  • Suggest additional analyses and data visualizations to further push our work and impact.

Empower colleagues to leverage impact data more effectively

  • Assist teams across DA in analyzing impact data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement at the project, regional and global level
  • Develop and deploy tools, processes, and resources to enhance data utilization
  • Contribute expertise and guidance on data-driven strategies and innovations to strengthen DA’s culture of transforming data into actionable insights

Support DA’s impact and ESG reporting

  • Collaborate with key leaders within DA to organize overall reporting on DA's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals
  • Support the publication of an annual impact and sustainability report

Skill sets:

We work closely in diverse, global teams, leaning on each other’s strengths and differences. We don’t expect any one person to do everything, nor do we operate in independent silos. Our teams are made up of people who:

  • Prioritize and manage assigned tasks: Bring clear structure and planning to day-to-day work and communication with colleagues, vendors, and DA leaders.
  • Build and manage relationships: Earn trust and influence among diverse stakeholders, especially in and around DA.
  • Analyze data and visualize: Collect, manage, and analyze raw data to extract actionable insights and recommendations and visualize it for decision-making.
  • Model data to identify patterns and forecast future trends: Utilize advanced analytical techniques and tools to reveal relationships within datasets, enabling prediction of outcomes and informed decision-making.
  • Write and communicate clearly: Turn insights into clear memos and well-structured slides; speak clearly and concisely in remote and in-person settings; simplify complexity, translating technical language into digestible narratives that enable great decision-making for different audiences.
  • Solve problems: Break down problems and identify root causes before developing hypotheses and solutions.
  • Innovate and iterate: Embody a curious mindset that champions innovation and be prepared to challenge the status quo to improve People tasks and processes.
  • Stay focused: Navigate complexity, ambiguity, and high-pressure environments - especially in new systems implementation - consistently reflecting a single-minded focus on priority outcomes.

Mindsets:

We work well with people who are:

  • Adaptable: Public sector work is dynamic. Our people are, too.
  • Analytical: We identify, dissect, and solve complex problems.
  • Accountable: We are a remote team. We work collaboratively but self-sufficiently; oversight is often minimal.
  • Driven: Our work is important, so it’s important we do it well.
  • Curious: We never stop learning from our clients, colleagues, and partners.
  • Collaborative: We are flexible, thoughtful and team players.
  • Inclusive: We embrace all voices and backgrounds; it enriches our work.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role, with a strong preference for candidates with quantitative analysis experience
  • Proficiency in data interpretation and reporting
  • Demonstrated experience using data for practical action
  • Experience with ESG and/or sustainability reporting preferable
  • A proactive, self-directed, resourceful and agile mindset
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for partnering with senior leadership
  • Experience using Airtable, Google Suite, and MS Office Suite preferred.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken

As mentioned above, only candidates who are currently based in Peru - with an existing work authorization - will be considered for this position.
